The Tremec TKX is a redesign of the TKO 500 & 600 Transmissions. It has much improved shift linkage design, Gaers, And Syncronizer Rings. The case is also a more low profile design to fit in transmssioin tunnels of earlier muscle cars better, offten without cutiing the floor.
